GuideOn provides interactive, one-of-a-kind, workshops for an individualized approach that enables professional development in communications, personal branding, marketing, and storytelling strategies.
The principles of discovery, design, and deliver to support the overarching end state goal to facilitate the successful leveraging of skill sets, transition assistance tools and associated resources. GuideOn provides interactive, one-of-a-kind, workshops and individualized approach that enables each transitioning service member, veteran and/or caregiver/military spouse to access and leverage community-based resources.

Workshops Include

A “GuideOn” Transition: Navigating Your Pathway
This interactive workshop involves activities, for those in transition to participate in a self-discovery, design a plan for education or employment transition, deliver resources to effectively maximize your benefits, skills, and translate YOUR Story.
A “GuideOn” The Military: The Civilian Translation
This interactive workshop involves activities to engage and expand your paradigm of military community from military service, veteran experience(s) and to the military families that support them. This workshop explores the complexities of transition. Learn how to differentiate “Veteran Ready” verse “Veteran Friendly” in your organization or group to identify your next steps to success in veteran branding.
Comfortable Being Uncomfortable: Personal Branding, Networking, & Social Media
Learn from an award-winning military influencer on how to make the ask and convey your message to others using social media and social events to build upon your endeavors. This activity filled workshop will make you self-aware of your body language, design your personal brand, develop and deliver your pitch, learn how to ask open ended questions, and develop your communication skills to grow your network in-person and through social media.

Women Veteran Experience: Highs & Lows

Ashley is an Army Veteran that will she her experiences, from basic training to a noncommissioned officer in three and a half years. Ashley will share her trials and triumphs as a leader—debunking common myths of part time service members while empowering others into authentic servant leadership. A Military Sexual Trauma statistic herself, Ashley shares her powerful story from victim to victor thought out the many facets of her life, overcoming the constant battle of depression and anxiety, moral injury, and the adoption of a post traumatic growth mindset.

Ashley speaks to three levels of experience—working with higher education decision makers, running a veteran service office, and being a student veteran.
